Paint

These are the core of my practice: monumental oil paintings on canvas and linen, often 160 x 140cm and larger. Mistakes stay visible. Previous decisions show through. The rawness of the material is as active as the paint itself — I am not interested in hiding the evidence of how a painting was made. That evidence is the painting. Works from this series have been acquired by private collectors in the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States.
